Free Marketing Offer From Austria
The Austrian National Tourist Office has announced that invitations went out last week to tour operators to have their Austrian product included in Destination Austria 2007 absolutely free of charge – pretty unique amongst NTO’s these days The Mole imagines!
Destination Austria is the key travel manual for Austria, incorporating a detailed listing of Australian and New Zealand tour operators and their Austrian product being produced annually by the Austrian National Tourist Office.
ANTO say that it is their most important marketing tool and is sent to all Austrian Certified Travel Specialists and other travel agents who actively sell Austria as well as direct to consumers who have made an enquiry about a holiday to Austria.
ANTO also says that 2006 is proving to be a successful one for Austria with major increases in Australian overnight stays recorded in the past three-quarters of this year, including 16% in Vienna, 22% in Salzburg and 15% in Innsbruck, with city tourism booming from Australia with the Australian market ranked 12th in Vienna, and 9th respectively in Salzburg and Innsbruck!
ANTO is currently updating Destination Austria and is offering the opportunity for tour operators to have their Austrian product included free of charge, so if you would like to be included in Destination Austria 2007 please send a detailed description of your Austrian product including your booking details to ANTO by 30 November 2006 on [email protected]
If you have any questions, please contact ANTO on (02) 9299 3621.
