One hundred free rooms for agents are being offered in Corfu to mark the opening of the first two hotels by Aquis Hotels and Resorts.
The up market Eastern Mediterranean hotel group is making the accommodation available for arrivals between April 21-25 for a maximum of seven nights at either the Aquis Agios Gordios Beach Hotel or Aquis Pelekas Beach Hotel for double or single occupancy.
Rooms are subject to availability on a first come first serve basis for bookings made between today (January 28) and February 2, with the allocation of hotel to be confirmed 10 days prior to arrival.
Marketing manager Rania Deimezi said: “We’re very excited about the opening of the first Aquis properties and want to showcase them to our travel trade partners.
"To take advantage of this offer of free accommodation all agents need to do is book their flights and send us the confirmation.”
Backed by international funds and capital investments, the company was created last summer with the objective to develop a chain of upmarket hotels within Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and Egypt.
Deimezi said: “In comparison with the western Mediterranean – especially Spain – which already has developed hotel chains, hotel groups and franchise brands opportunities in the last decade, the eastern Mediterranean has been left behind in comparison, this is why we’ve launched Aquis Hotels and Resorts.”
