Frontier Airlines raises USD570 million in IPO
Frontier Airlines’ shares have hit the stock market as it becomes the latest airline to go public. It sold 30 million shares that priced at $19 ahead of its debut today on the Nasdaq Global Select Market.
It values the company at about $4 billion. It will trade under the ULCC symbol. Frontier had previously planned to go public but postponed it due to market conditions.
It comes just weeks after another budget carrier, Sun Country Airlines, went public.
