Frontier Airlines rebrands frequent flyer program
Frontier Airlines has revamped and renamed its frequent flyer program.
The budget carrier has changed the name from Early Returns to Frontier Miles.
Now it offers three membership tiers – the existing Elite 20k status, as well as Elite 50k and Elite 100k.
The airline has kept it simple with customers earning one frequent flyer mile for every mile flown.
Miles can also be earned with purchases made by the Frontier Airlines Mastercard which comes with a 40,000-mile signup bonus once members pend $500 on the card.
Customers at 20k status get free carry-ons and advanced seat assignment.
Frontier’s extra legroom seats are available for Elite 50k members and their family, and 100k level members get ‘The Works’ fully bundled fare which includes free carry-on and checked bags, advanced seat assignments, and free ticket changes.
"Frontier’s mission is to make it possible for more people to fly and fly more often. The reimagined Frontier Miles program makes that even easier. We recognized that earning awards and status with airlines is not easy and we aim to change that with our new program," said Tyri Squyres, vice president of marketing.
All customers who book and complete two round trip journeys by October15 will be awarded 20k status through the end of the year.
