Frontier increasing Chicago network
Low cost carrier Frontier Airlines has announced more new routes from focus city Chicago from April.
Flights will operate once a day to Austin, San Francisco, Raleigh-Durham, N.C, and Los Angeles.
These are in addition to Frontier’s upcoming launch of Chicago O’Hare-Philadelphia flights, which begin March 13.
The carrier has swiftly built an extensive network at O’Hare which includes a number of international routes.
"Chicago is quickly becoming a Frontier town as we will be offering non-stop service to 19 destinations in the US, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic and Mexico," said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s SVP of commercial.
"Our success in Chicago is due in part to our customers that have overwhelmingly embraced our message of ‘Low Fares Done Right’ making it our largest focus city in the Midwest."
Routes from Chicago include Atlanta, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Denver, Las Vegas; Miami, Orlando and Phoenix.
In addition, an existing Trenton, NJ flight from Chicago Midway will transfer across town to Chicago O’Hare in April.
