Galileo announces new automated tool for private fares
Galileo International Inc. announced its Web-based Galileo Agency Private Fares in the US, Canada and Latin America.
The new interface streamlines the fare management process of complex agency or corporate negotiated private fares, the company says.
By automatically quoting, storing and ticketing negotiated airfares maintained by agencies, Galileo Agency Private Fares also increases compliance with corporate travel programs and agreements with suppliers, according to Galileo.
Said Eileen Kennedy, vp, marketing, Galileo Americas of the newest component of the Galileo 360 Fares Solution Suite:
“Galileo Agency Private Fares offers a new level of accuracy and speed of fare distribution, dramatically increasing the level of automation of the entire faring process to the Galileo agency desktop.”
She added that the new system allows “total control” over how an agency inputs, manages and distributes negotiated private fares. It can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection.
