Galle Face Hotel Group partners with Louis T Collection

Galle Face Hotel Group has inked a strategic partnership with Louis T Collection aimed at boosting operational performance and retail opportunities.

Louis T will also leverage its tech solutions to strengthen Galle Face’s asset management capabilities.

"Now’s the time, the island is flourishing and tourism is booming," said GFHG chairman Sanjeev Gardiner.

"Galle Face is an independent grand hotel and the beauty of our collaboration is it allows us to leverage all of their technology benefits as well as international hospitality experience and reach, while still remaining a grand independent."

The Galle Face recently finished a major restoration project lasting more than two years on the storied 152-year-old hotel.

It completely remodelled the North Wing’s 72 rooms and suites, its restaurants, bars, lobby, and ballrooms.

It also added an executive lounge and this week opens a new upscale seafood restaurant.

"A hotel is more than just a comfortable place to stay. It can and should be a gateway to the surrounding environment, just like the Galle Face Hotel, one of the most celebrated properties in Asia for over 150 years," said chief executive and co-founder of Louis T, Grant Healy.
