Garuda back to Brisbane after five years
Garuda Indonesia has officially returned to Brisbane after a five-year break with today’s inaugural B737-800 flight to Denpasar.
Bagus Y. Siregar, vice president for Garuda Indonesia Australia and SWP said: "Australian travel to Indonesia is growing every year; in the South-West Pacific region we saw a 20% increase in passengers in 2012.
"We have also seen a significant growth in demand in the Queensland leisure market, so we are very pleased to be back in Brisbane."
For Business Class passengers, Garuda Indonesia offers a complimentary limousine service to and from Brisbane airport.
