Garuda revamps A330 business class

Garuda Indonesia has announced the next stage of its in-flight service enhancements with the launch of ‘Super Diamond Seat Business Class.’
 
The new long haul service is being rolled out on new Airbus A330-300 jets with a 1-2-1 seat configuration
 
It also features a Panasonic EX3 in-flight entertainment system with 16-inch touch screen LCD screens.
 
"Garuda is the first airline to implement the EX3 service on its A330-300 aircraft," said Garuda CEO Arif Wibowo.
 
Each jet will have 24 Super Diamond business seats which convert to fully flat-beds.
 
Economy cabins on the new on the new A330s will also have a makeover with new LCD screens and in-seat power and USB outlets.
 
The enhancements will be added to its four Airbus jets due for delivery this year and its 10th Boeing B777.
 
"These new additions in Garuda’s fleet are hoped to offer more value to all of Garuda’s customers, particularly the Super Diamond Seat business class," Wibowo added.
 
Garuda also expects to take delivery of four ATR 72-600s and eight A320s which will go to its domestic low cost unit Citilink.
