Gastro pubs plan for Center Parcs
Restaurants at two Center Parcs villages are to be converted into gastro pubs as part of a £6.3 million investment over the next year.
Two restaurants at the company’s Sherwood and Elveden Forest sites will be switched into “high quality” gastro pubs and be operated by Select Service Partner. The work will start in January.
The outlay, which also covers the management of sportswear shops across the four UK villages by Nuance Group, is part of a wider £17 million investment in restaurants and retail following £60 million on accommodation improvements.
The £4.4 million retail investment will see existing units upgraded and expanded and the addition of two new shops in each village which are due to start trading early next year.
“Center Parcs’ management do not expect any imposed job losses in the future as a result of these agreements,” a company statement said.
