Gays and lesbians invited to a wedding

Thursday, 05 Jun, 2006 0

The Canadian Tourism Commission has launched a campaign to make the country more of a Mecca for same-sex marriages.

Canada is one of the few countries in the world to extend full marriage equality to all people.

The ads are part of a gay and lesbian marketing campaign that also includes sponsorship of film festivals and other events.

Montreal, Vancouver and Toronto are already among the top destinations anywhere for gay and lesbian travelers.

Canada’s gay-tourism leader, Montréal was voted the 8th most romantic travel destination by Gay.com.
