GDS bids to raise Ask Galileo profile
European agents are being targeted as Galileo seeks to raise trade awareness of its ‘Ask Galileo’ information bank.
A range of prizes is being offered to agents who answer product-related questions over a three-month period ending on November 19.
More than 12,000 agents worldwide have registered for Ask Galileo since its launch a year ago. It provides 3,200 answers in multiple languages about the GDS.
The main prize is a six-night holiday for two at two hotels in Cyprus.
UK & Ireland general manager Patrick Lukan said: “We are delighted to be able to give travel agents the chance to win some fantastic prizes.
“Our Ask Galileo database should be the first port of call for any agent looking to further their knowledge on Galileo and more and more are now signing up to this service.”
