Genesis, SkyLink hook up
The Genesis Travel Distribution System reached an agreement with the SkyLink Group to provide more than 30 million negotiated and net fares from more than 805 gateways to cities all over the world via the services of 80 North American and international air carriers.
SkyLink Group is North America’s largest provider of consolidator and net fares to Canadian and US travel agencies.
Implementation is set for next September.
Said Bruce Bishins, Genesis President and CEO:
“The SkyLink consolidator and net fare agreement will round out FareSpider’s already robust content by providing the ‘missing link’ of air fare content which our subscribers have been thirsting for.”
He called agencies’ ability to compare, book and price leverage consolidator fares a key to continued competitiveness.
