Genting’s World Dream to homeport in Hong Kong and Guangzhou
Genting Cruise Lines’ World Dream will launch in dual homeports in Hong Kong and Guangzhou this November.
Dream Cruises’ newest addition, World Dream joins sister-ship Genting Dream which launched a year earlier.
The ship will sail 6-day/5-night cruises to Manila and Boracay in the Philippines until March 31, 2018, overlapping with alternating cruises to Ho Chi Minh and Nha Trang in Vietnam from December 3, 2017 to October 14, 2018.
"Genting Cruise Lines is reinforcing our position in the Pearl River Delta Region by welcoming World Dream to begin her service with dual homeports in Guangzhou (Nansha) and Hong Kong, following in the footsteps of Genting Dream previously,". Kent Zhu, president of Genting Cruise Lines.
"World Dream will further build upon our ongoing commitment to this region which has seen Guangzhou (Nansha) evolve into China’s second busiest port and the strengthening of Hong Kong as a premier fly/cruise hub."
World Dream includes Dream Palace, the luxury ship-within-a-ship experience featuring expansive suites and exclusive Palace Concierge service.
"With the timely introduction of World Dream, we are even more committed to delivering higher service and product standards that exceed our guests’ expectations," said Thatcher Brown, president of Dream Cruises.
"By doubling Dream Cruises Fleet with the addition of World Dream, we are delighted to be offering our guests and valued travel partners diverse itineraries featuring new, authentic destination experiences."
Sister ship Genting Dream will be deployed at new homeport Singapore with new sailings to Indonesia, Malaysia and Phuket in Thailand.
