Global Travel Writers’ new website is a travel editor’s bonanza
Global Travel Writers (GTW), a decade-old alliance of professional travel journalists and photographers based in Australia, has totally significantly revamped its website to increase the usefulness of this valuable editorial resource to time-pressed editors in Australia and around the world.
The thoroughly upgraded website www.globaltravelwriters.com contains an extensive portfolio of hundreds of features carefully researched and meticulously written by GTW members following independent visits to over 100 countries.
Additional features are added virtually everyday.
Editors can easily search the website by story, theme, country or author or by clicking on a world map, read on-line synopses of features, see sample images and then make direct contact with individual authors.
Territorial rights, images, fees and other specifics can then be negotiated with individual authors. All features can be tailored to exacting editorial specifications.
The new Global Travel Writers website is a one-stop shop for commissioning editors who require authoritative and expertly written features on a wide range of travel topics including food and wine, golf, culture, islands, adventure sports, safaris, cruising, destinations and business as well as photo essays for publication in their respective magazines and newspapers.
GTW journalists have more than two centuries of writing experience between them! Profiles of all ten GTW members are on the website together with full contact details.
Some of the most recent inclusions on the constantly evolving website include features on Libya, Bali’s new UNESCO World Heritage sites, Golfing in Nepal, the Sands of Dreamtime, north of Cooktown, Queensland and the Spas of Budapest.
