Globalcars’ new booking service

Wednesday, 05 Nov, 2008 0

Leading car leasing and rental wholesaler globalCARS is about to introduce a full on-line Car Leasing reservation system which will dramatically improve facilitation for travel agents.

Director Andrew Morgan said that the new system is a first for Australian car leasing organizations and would help agents to quote and book Citroen, Renault and Peugeot lease products.

He added, “With 99% of vehicles on freesale you will get instant confirmation. Agents will be able to login and obtain all relevant information and make a booking rather than have to wait up to 24 hours for a consultant to return a quote by email.

“The system is automated to the point of being able to save quotes and auto email to your inbox. You can then retrieve a saved quote and turn it into a booking. It is a unique approach and importantly does not change any commission levels.”

Being a niche operator globalCARS will continue to welcome Agents to call for advice and assistance at any stage of the booking.

Mr Morgan said that a major New Zealand IT company had been working on establishing the system over the last six months.
