Gold fever to hit Kalgoorlie
The 23.26-kilogram Ausrox Gold nugget found last year in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields will go on display at the WA Museum – Kalgoorlie-Boulder in November.
The nugget, which was purchased by Ausrox Gold, had been on display at Museum Victoria.
The nugget, one of the largest ever found in Western Australia, is also one of the few large nuggets remaining intact for display.
The Ausrox Gold Nugget will be on display from November 2011 until January 2012.
