Gold Medal finds Asia specialist
Gold Medal Travel has appointed a manager to propel its expansion into Hong Kong and emerging markets in Asia and India.
Nick Page, who joins from Carrier where he was product manager, joins immediately. His role is Contracts Manager North Asia and India.
Mr Page has experience in working with markets in Asia and India both with Carrier and prior to that with specialist tour operator Audley Travel developing the Thailand and Indochina product.
Commenting on his new role Mr Page said: “Our aim is to grow the business and expand the ground product portfolio across these regions in line with the huge increases Gold Medal has seen with its air product. Through in-house and agents training, Gold Medal Travel aims to become the market leader in these destinations, and I look forward to playing a significant role in making this happen”.
