Gold Medal sales chief to speak at SPAA dinner
Gold Medal Travel group sales director David Holland is one of the guest speakers at this year’s Scottish Passenger Agents Association dinner.
The 77th SPAA annual dinner is due to attract large numbers of travel industry representatives to Glasgow on February 22.
The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Glasgow – adjacent to the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre.
Roddie MacPhee, convener of the dinner, said: “One of the highlights of the evening is the Address to the Haggis, which will again be delivered by president Sandy MacPherson in his own inimitable way.
“That will be followed by the toast to World Travel and Tourism and the reply will be given this year by David Holland, the well known and highly respected sales director of Gold Medal Travel Group.
“Finally, we have great pleasure in welcoming Donald Findlay QC to the ever popular ‘Travel from the Outside’ slot – a light-hearted view on the travel industry.
“Donald will demonstrate his quick wit and the same theatrical skills which have seen him become the most sought after defence advocate in Scotland”.
