Golden Chain says beat fuel prices and have a great Aussie holiday
One of Australia’s largest accommodation groups, Golden Chain Motor Inns concluded their conference in Manly last week with clear message for Aussie travellers, saying that it’s easy to beat fuel prices by selecting the type of holiday you want, beaches, golfing, history, rural retreats, adventure etc. and then searching for destinations that provide that style of activity or lifestyle.
The leading chain as has amended its website http://www.goldenchain.com.au to reflect this view, allowing travellers to use as keyword to search for their interest and coming up with a destination providing that interest.
Golden Chain General Manager, Mr. Bryan White, says that the search will yield locations that are a short drive from your location, reducing the travelling time and expense to get there and what’s more, Golden Chain will provide you with a special card that will get you a 10% in the accommodation rate for every one of its 320 properties throughout Australia, meaning the holiday or short break will cost you even less.
Mr. White says Golden Chain has access to more than 2,500 attractions scattered throughout Australia – and most of them can be reached economically from any major city, adding “While we face challenging times, travellers need to review their plans to reduce the costs of their holidays and short breaks.” “By simply seeking a destination closer to therm with a similar feature, costs can be dramatically reduced – and regional communities will benefit during the drought, working for the benefit of everyone.”
Mr White said, “In addition, we can offer accommodation is a variety of special locations including lighthouses, cabins, unique bed and breakfast establishments and much more and what’s more we are all Australian owned and we practice family style hospitality in a true Australian style.”
