Golf operator makes acquisition
Your Golf Travel.com has acquired the key assets of Rightclub Ltd for an undisclosed sum.
Your Golf Travel.com has acquired the domain www.rightclub.co.uk, the client database, Intellectual Property rights and trademarks, booking history and has already relaunched the company’s website.
Based near Milton Keynes, Rightclub posted sales in excess of £3 million in the last three years and commanded a client base of more than 20,000 UK golfers.
"With a strong focus on domestic golf breaks, plus overseas holidays in mainland Spain, Portugal and the Balearic Islands, the Rightclub purchase aligns itself with the company’s high growth strategy," said Ross Marshall, managing director at Your Golf Travel.com.
He said it was important that the brand remains visible and that golfers can continue to book with Rightclub.
“Rightclub has been among the most recognisable names in the golf breaks market, with a substantial and loyal customer base.
"By adding the infrastructure of Your Golf Travel.com, we will be able to broaden significantly the product base and make Rightclub more competitive and appealing for consumers.
"This was a great opportunity to extend the reach of Your Golf Travel.com, and is a continuation of our commitment to pursue acquisitions.”
