Good August performance from easyJet

Monday, 08 Sep, 2003 0

No frills airline easyJet managed to fill more of its available seats in August than in the same month last year.

The airline’s load factor – which represents the number of seats filled compared to the number of seats available – stood at 88.1% for August, compared to 87.2% the year before.

This is despite the acquisition of rival Go which meant the airline had more seats to fill.

Passenger numbers increased by 17% to almost two million (1,985,038).
