Good day for online sellers

Yesterday saw mixed fortunes for travel and tourism shares as London’s main equity indices remained fairly static.

 

The FTSE 100 index dropped just 3.5 points to end the day at 4355.2, while the broader-based FTSE 250 added eight points to close at 5916.1.

 

Among the brightest performers were lastminute.com, which added 3.75p to close at 121p, and ebookers, which had another good session and added 9.5p for a closing price of 162p.
