Good day for travel stocks

Travel shares has a very positive day yesterday, helping to push London’s main equity indices into positive territory. The FTSE 100 index gained 31.9 points to close at 4571.8, while the broader-based FTSE 250 ended the day at 6313.8, up 18.3 points. There were numerous strong performances among travel and tourism stocks; among the leaders were: British Airways, up 8.75p to 294.5p; Hilton, up 6.5p to 245.5p; and Ryanair, up 12.5p to 324.5p.
