Good news for frequent flyers
Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic Airways have co-ordinated frequent flyer schemes.
Effective from 1 October, passengers flying with either carrier will be able to choose whether to redeem miles for the Delta SkyMiles programme or the Virgin Flying Club programme.
Both carriers are offering a double points promotion for travel between 1 October and 15 December 2002.
Virgin operates 19 services out of London Heathrow and London Gatwick. Delta and its worldwide partners fly to 425 destinations in 76 countries.
