Governor says sorry for ATF troubles
TTG Asia Media is looking forward to Asean Tourism Forum (ATF) 2013 in Vientiane, Laos, after admitting that the operation of this year’s trade event in Manado had resulted in “several disappointments for the delegates”.
Darren Ng, the TTG Asia Media executive running the show, said the governor of North Suluwasi, Dr Sinyo H. Sarundajang, had at the closing ceremony responded to the challenges faced by delegates.
In response to complaints about the organisation of the event, the governor told ATF participants he was “very, very sorry for all the troubles you have found in Manado.
“Although we have tried to provide the best services, sometimes things just did not run perfectly as planned.”
Delegates’ complaints centred around lack of air access into Manado, long transport delays after late night functions and the unfinished state of the convention centre.
