Greece and Mediterranean Travel Centre’s Triple Treat Tour Pharaohs to Prophets

Tuesday, 15 Sep, 2008 0

During 2008 there has been a surge of popularity for tour programs combining Egypt, Israel and Jordan.

In fact the three destinations have enjoyed a surge of popularity during 2008 with all three destinations enjoying all time tourism arrival records globally and from Australia.

The Australian summer is a great time to visit all three counties. The weather is mild, the big northern hemisphere crowds have abated and all attractions are easily accessible.

In late 2007 Greece and Mediterranean Travel Centre released its Pharaohs to Prophets tour which includes Cairo, and cruising the Nile from Aswan to Luxor a flight across to Sharm el Sheikh, climbing Mount Sinai and then crossing into Israel to experience the domes and minarets of the Holy city of Jerusalem, The Dead Sea, following the footsteps of Jesus in Nazareth and the Galilee and then crossing into Jordan to visit the spectacular remains of Petra, the magnificently preserved Roman city of Jerash and Jordan’s capital Amman.

The full 18 day tour incorporates the highlights of the three countries. With the Australian dollar undertaking some serious downhill acrobatics at the moment, prices are likely to have changed from those published in the 2008 Egypt brochure.
