Passengers flying into or out of Greece today should expect severe delays as the country stages a one day strike in protest at the country’s state public spending cuts.
Most public services will grind to a halt and flights will be grounded. Two of the country’s biggest unions have called for the walk-out which will see workers protesting about cuts in wages and pensions.
Travellers are advised to contact their travel agent or airline before travelling to check on the status of their flight.
