London’s answer to the Eden Project – Green London is the UK’s first ever urban eco tour, providing a crash course in environmental issues in just two and half hours with a particular emphasis on climate change as well as a delightful look at London’s most famous and impressive landmarks.
This unique walking tour of London with knowledgeable, enthusiastic guides is aimed at encouraging everybody from corporate executives, company groups, school children, tourists, individuals and conflicted interests into knowledgeable, interested, enthusiastic, forward-thinking global citizens.
For those already committed to the environment, the tour also provides a great day out, and is an inspirational catalyst for motivation and knowledge exchange. The tour is also highly recommended for educational groups and individuals.
The tour starts in Trafalgar Square and ends at the Houses of Parliament. The tour currently runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 2.15 – 4.45pm and bookings are taken online.
The experience includes insight into traffic problems, modern housing and food issues, organic gardening and CO2 emissions, on this planned route which encompasses the Horse Guards Parade, Cabinet War Room’s organic garden, Westminster Abbey and St James’s Park.
Standard prices are £22.20 per person for companies and organisations, £12.20 per person for educational groups, and £11.10 per person for tourists, individuals and NGO’s. Bookings are being taken at half price throughout August.
