Greengage partners with Global Hotel Alliance
Independent sustainability specialist, Greengage Solutions, has become an accreditation partner of Global Hotel Alliance (GHA).
The independent hotel network is able to use Greengage’s ECOsmart accreditation to identify Green Collection sustainable hotels resorts and palaces in the global portfolio.
The alliance operates loyalty program, GHA DISCOVERY.
GHA represents over 800 properties from 40 hotel brands, located in 100 countries.
Launched in March 2023, the Green Collection sustainable hotels account for a quarter of the portfolio.
All Green Collection properties have attained at least one certification from various global, regional or locally recognised organisations aligned with UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Greengage is an accreditation partner for several GHA DISCOVERY properties, including The Doyle Collection hotels in the UK, Ireland and US as well as Pan Pacific London.
Andrew Perolls, CEO of Greengage Solutions, said: “It’s clear that sustainability are international issues. We’re delighted to be partnering with GHA hotels to help them achieve recognised accreditation.”
