HAL names new food and beverage vice president
Holland America Line has promoted Gerald Mosslinger to food and beverage vice president.
Mosslinger will lead dining and beverage service operations fleetwide for the recently renamed Guest Experience and Product Development Department, formerly known as Marine Hotel Operations.
He will report to Michael Smith, senior vice president, Guest Experience and Product Development, and will also manage the line’s F&B revenue activities and product development.
"Gerald’s promotion to vice president demonstrates the importance of the food and beverage experience as a component of the overall premium cruise vacation," Smith said.
"Gerald will help us focus on enhancing our service and standards in this critical area."
Mosslinger’s most recent role role at HAL was as director of beverage and signature services and he previously worked at Windstar Cruises and Seabourn.
