Half price hotel deals offered to agents
Hotel companies have started offering half price deals to travel agents in an effort to fill their rooms
The Rezidor Hotel Group is providing 50% off the retail rate at more than 260 hotels until the end of the year.
The discount applies to hotels in the brands Radisson Blu, Park Inn, Country Inn, Regent and Hotel Missoni across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The 50% discount also applies to all other Carlson hotels worldwide (Rezidor is Carlson’s franchisee in EMEA). The total portfolio of destinations features more than 1,000 properties in 73 countries.
The offer is valid for any stay with a maximum of five consecutive nights, and bookings can be made online at www.travelagent.rezidor.com.
Rezidor is integrating the 50% offer in its latest “Look to Book” campaign and will further promote it with direct mailings to agents, distribution through consortia intranet pages, banner advertising on trade websites, sales calls and postcards.
Hong Kong chain Regal Hotels International is also providing 50% savings on room rates starting at HK$750 at any of its seven properties. The offer applies to stays until August 31 and applies to travel industry and airline staff, Go to www.RegalHotel.com .
