Halfords finance chief appointed by easyJet
Halfords finance chief Andrew Findlay is to join easyJet as chief financial officer.
Starting in October, he will replace Chris Kennedy who announced earlier this year that he would be leaving to become chief financial officer of ARM Holdings.
Findlay has headed up finance for Halfords since February 2011 and was previously director of finance, tax and treasury at Marks & Spencer.
EasyJet chief executive Carolyn McCall said: “He is a proven FTSE 250 CFO with great consumer experience and a strong focus on cost.
"He is part of the leadership team at Halfords which has created a much more customer centric and profitable business.
"Andrew is a great fit for easyJet and I am sure he will add a lot of value to the airline.”
