A new Hard Rock Hotel is coming to Cancun.
The company announced plans to open the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Cancun in 2017, which will be its third property on the Yucatan peninsula.
It will feature 1,800 oceanfront rooms, six restaurants, five bars and lounges and a lagoon swimming pool complex.
It will also have 90,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
"We are excited to welcome our fifth property in Mexico and build upon our collaboration with All Inclusive Collection," said Marco Roca, chief development officer.
"Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Cancun will offer the ultimate resort experience, tempting travelers to never leave."
The resort will be located overlooking the Caribbean Sea and 15 minutes from Cancun airport.
Orlando-based Hard Rock International currently manages 197 cafes, hotels and casino resorts in 62 countries.
