Haven guests challenged to break Guinness World Records
Haven is partnering with Guinness World Records in a one-year deal which will see it incorporate live record breaking events into its entertainment.
Guinness World Records Live! will host a 15-minute ‘takeover’ during the ‘Go Live’ show over a 10-week peak season at all Haven sites when visitors will have the chance to try to break a variety of fun records.
For example, they might be challenged to make the most passes of a beach ball in 30 seconds or pack a suitcase in the fastest time.
The Guinness World Records Live! show will also be touring 11 parks over 14 days during July and August.
The show will feature an official Guinness World Records title attempt every hour and will star a Guinness World Records title holder who will also hold record-breaking workshops.
Paul O’Neill, VP of creative for Guinness World Records, said its events have a huge appeal to a family audience.
"The challenges we’ll be bringing to the parks are easily accessible and fun to practise," he said.
"There’s real potential for Haven customers to become a Guinness World Records title holder while they’re on holiday."
