Hawaii Tourism Authority appoints new marketing VP
The Hawaii Tourism Authority has appointed experienced Hawaii hotel executive Pattie Herman as new vice president of marketing and product development.
Herman begins her new role on December 2.
She has spent more than four decades in the Hawaii tourism industry and currently serves as director of sales and marketing for the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa.
Herman has previously held senior sales and marketing positions at multiple resorts across Hawaii.
"In addition to having a long and successful career in the visitor industry, Pattie’s experience and success in the Asia market will be vital as we continue to focus on this high-spend traveler," said HTA president Chris Tatum.
She will oversee all HTA branding and strategy planning and the development of new tourism products.
She will also be responsible for leisure and group travel programs.
