Hawaiian Air returns as Oakland Raiders’ official airline
Hawaiian Airlines will again be the official airline of NFL’s Oakland Raiders.
Renewing its agreement beginning with the September 3 pre-season game at Seattle Seahawks, Hawaiian will fly the team to games for the 2015 season, on a designated Airbus A330 aircraft featuring the Raiders’ logo.
Upcoming trips include Cleveland, Chicago, San Diego, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Nashville, and Denver.
Hawaiian has been operating as the Raiders’ official charter carrier virtually continuously since the year 2000.
"We are proud to serve as the Oakland Raiders’ carrier of choice for all these years," said Brent Overbeek, Hawaiian’s vice president of revenue management and network planning.
"Our A330 service will offer them even more legroom, personal entertainment seatback monitors and USB ports for personal media players so they can arrive relaxed, energized and refreshed for their next game."
Hawaiian has been flying out of Oakland International Airport since 2008 and operates daily nonstop flights to Honolulu and Kahului on Maui.
