SYDNEY – The Australian Tourism Export Council will be holding Australia’s first-ever Health and Wellness Travel Conference next month in Cairns.

The conference, to be held in at the Shangri-La Hotel in Cairns on September 3, is expected to attract policy makers and business executives from the tourism, health, state and regional development, tertiary education and innovation fields, as well as state and Federal Government personnel keen to learn more about one of the fastest-growing tourism niches in the world.

The conference programme includes local and international speakers and experts who will examine the opportunities available to Australian businesses, as well as look at case studies of successful health and wellness tourism examples from overseas.
