Heathrow protestors found guilty
Nine protesters who blocked a road to Heathrow Airport last August, causing traffic chaos, have been found guilty of wilful obstruction of the highway.
Campaigners from anti-racism group Nine Black Lives Matter chained themselves together and lay down across an M4 slip road to the airport beneath a banner reading: "This is a crisis."
The group, who denied the charge, were ordered to pay fines of between £261 and £523 each by Willesden Magistrates Court.
The protest marked the five-year anniversary of the police shooting of Mark Duggan, 29, in Tottenham whose death led to riots across England.
