Heatwave to hit the UK
Weather forecasters are predicting a heatwave this week with parts of the UK being warmer than Majorca and Corfu.
As many holidaymakers head to Europe in search of some sun, Wednesday’s temperatures are expected to hit 25 degrees in parts of the south east of England, making it the best weather week so far this year.
Gareth Harvey, forecaster at MeteoGroup, said Tuesday should also see temperatures up to 24 degrees with peaks in the London area.
