Henoo.com refines holiday search
Travel search engine Henoo.com has introduced a new holiday search system with a revamp of the site.
The newly refined results process is claimed to make the company the most specific holiday search engine in the UK.
Instead of showing all individual search results by date, price and resort, users are first given condensed top line search results grouped by each individual hotel and tour operator with sub groups of prices and dates.
This is claimed to enable the display of thousands of package holidays simultaneously. The user can then drill down another level by clicking on their preferences to get more information before going on to book.
Henoo claims the summary of search findings displays a greater variety of choice than other search engines on the first page, making the process easier and more manageable.
CEO Maz Darvish said: “Consumers have wrongly surrendered to the idea that searching online, whatever it may be for, will turn up a long list of results, the majority of which don’t come close to meeting the original criteria.
“We knew this was the case when we launched Henoo.com and did so to enable searches that were specifically for holidays to return results that were only holidays.
“Now that the site has grown – both in terms of visitors and services – we recognised an urgent market need to bring even more order and simplicity to holiday search results. This new dimension gives greater control to online holiday seekers while continuing to deliver maximum choice.”
