Hertz launches agents incentive
Hertz is offering bonus commission and free rental days to Australia’s travel agents, as part of a new incentive programme to increase bookings from the growing small business market.
For each new company enrolled in the Hertz small business loyalty programme, Corporate Plus, the referring travel agency will receive a free one-day rental certificate and bonus commission of 5 per cent on qualifying rentals generated by that business.
The agents’ rewards programme follows the launch late last year of Hertz Corporate Plus Rewards, a new loyalty incentive designed specifically for small to medium business customers throughout Australia.
Once enrolled in the program, for every day of car rental, businesses can earn one rental credit. When 15 credits are accrued, they earn a free rental day.
“Small to medium-sized enterprises represent a major and growing segment of the business travel market in Australia, with many spending as much as $25,000 a year on car rental,” said Wayne Burgoyne, Director of Sales and Marketing for Hertz Australia.
“In addition to free rental days, we also offer SME customers a range of other benefits, including special bonus offers throughout the year, competitive rental rates and discounts worldwide, and membership to Hertz #1 Club Gold, which eliminates queues and paperwork when collecting or returning vehicles,” said Mr Burgoyne.
“Our new rewards programme for travel agents is a natural extension of our business rewards programme in this very significant segment of the corporate travel market, and benefits travel agents as well as individual businesses.”
To qualify for bonus commission payments and free rental days, travel agents simply need to enrol small businesses into the Hertz Corporate Plus programme.
