Hertz launches new loyalty redemption tool
Hertz Europe Limited, part of Hertz Global Holdings, Inc is introducing a new tool allowing customers to redeem travel loyalty points for car hire.
Finnair is joining as the launch partner for the new feature, with Hertz set to announce additional partners throughout the year.
The new feature, which is now available at finnair.hertzredemption.com, gives Finnair Plus members deals and a broad choice of car rental options from Hertz, while accessing bespoke promotions and benefits.
To explore the site, customers simply need to be members of the Finnair Plus loyalty programme and have a minimum of 1,000 points.
Angela Brav, President, Hertz International said: “Finnair has been a trusted partner of Hertz for the past 25 years and it’s great that we are now able to use digital innovations to benefit Finnair and Hertz customers so directly.”
The redemption tool is flexible and protects customers against dusruption to their trip.
Any redeemed points will be refunded in full if a cancellation is made prior to a customer’s scheduled pick-up.
Pekka Antila, Head of Loyalty, Finnair said: “This new redemption platform represents a huge step forward because it makes it much simpler for Finnair Plus members to redeem points with Hertz.”
