HeyHolidays enters Australia and New Zealand market
Fast expanding online accommodation platform HeyHolidays has rolled out into to a series of new markets including Australia and New Zealand.
The company, which launched in India in 2016, now says it is present in more 120 countries including the US, Europe and Southeast Asia.
It lists more than 200,000 alternative accommodation listings.
Its footprint expands to Sydney, Melbourne and other Australian destinations, while it has about 500 listings across New Zealand.
"We have observed an impressive increase in the demand from our Indian outbound travellers to Australia and New Zealand over popular destinations like UK, France and Spain," said co-founder Kenny Blatt.
"HeyHolidays’ growth has been contagious within India for inbound and outbound travellers along with our growing international customer bookings."
Blatt says demand to Australia and new Zealand has mostly come from young groups families and honeymooners from India.
HeyHolidays’ listings cover all price points from affordable backpacker-friendly units to properties that can accommodate 15 or more guests.
In India alone it has a presence in more than 120 markets.
