Highest earners see travel salaries rise ….
Pay for executives in the travel industry earning over £40,000 per annum increased in July at the fastest rate for at least two and a half years, according to the latest travel salary index by C&M Travel Recruitment.
However, standard salaries excluding executive roles fell by a little over 3% to an average of £19,646 in July. This was up 2.7% for the full year.
C&M said new candidate registrations reached their highest level since last October. "The rise suggests people now have a bit more confidence in the economy, are more secure in their current job and feel comfortable enough to assess their career prospects," said C&M sales director Barbara Kolosinska.
