Hillgate enchances online hotel offering
Hillgate Travel is expanding its hotel offering through a new online solution.
The independent travel management company has integrated Conferma’s web-based API (application programming interface) into its proprietary FreeWay self-booking tool.
The web service aggregates content from multiple sources including GDS, direct connect and wholesalers to provide a single view of rates and content for 110,000 properties worldwide.
Users have search, booking and settlement technology available which integrates into the agency booking tool and back office.
Hillgate Travel IT director Mark Bull said: “This solution meets our requirement to offer our clients access to the widest possible sources for hotel content.
“We plan to further develop our hotel offering and having such a sophisticated tool integrate so quickly with our own booking platform has given us the inventory we need with minimum development overhead.â€
