Historic luxury hotel offers latest in internet connection
The 262-room Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Virginia, is a historic property that also has the latest wireless iSpotc, a high-speed internet connection that allows guests to connect without altering previous network set-ups.
The iSpotz, a RichmondAir product can be accessed by the guests with any 802.11b/g “wi-fi” device. RichmondAir, the master creator of the iSpotz, includes the Berkeley Hotel and The Jefferson Hotel as two of its best-known clients.
The Jefferson is one of only 24 hotels with both the Mobil Five Star and the AAA Five Diamond designations.
The hotel features rich embellishments, handsome tapestries and unique furniture. It also has a 70-foot-high stained glass ceiling.
One of its more unusual services is customized wedding cake creations for wedding couples. A pastry chef meets with couples to offer sample cake flavors and discuss what’s available.
Luxury amenities include plush bathrobes, private mini-bars, marble baths, premium cable television and others. Complimentary services include wireless high-speed in each room and in public spaces and car services to all downtown destinations.
The hotel has 26,000 square feet of meeting space.
