Historic Newport, RI – Group Tours

Wednesday, 26 Mar, 2008 0

Come to historic Newport, Rhode Island and stay in a historical inn. We have 34 rooms available for groups and weddings.

Bellevue House was the first summer hotel in Newport and has hosted thousands of visitors over its 177 years of services. While our roof beams are held together with wooden pegs, and most of our doors still have their colonial style latches, we have updated the important facilities, and all bedrooms have air conditioning.

The Inn on Bellevue features Victorian style rooms, some with Jacuzzi’s and natural stone bathrooms, and some with marble enclosed fireplaces. A complimentary continental style breakfast is served in our Cafe Modiano.

For those who prefer a more modern facility, Bellevue Manor includes queen sized beds with kitchenettes and living rooms. Some of the rooms are pet friendly. All of our rooms are smoke free. Our rates are as low as $99.00.

Some of the things to do include tours of the Newport Mansions, a visit to Fort Adams, an ancient battleground, a drive around the Ocean Drive, a walk along the Cliff Walk which extends seven miles along the shore behind the mansions, dinner on the Newport Dinner Train, the Newport Music Festival at the Mansions, the Tall Ships, and the JVC Jazz and Folk Festivals.
