Ho Chi Minh City tourism showcased in Australia
Ho Chi Minh City Tourism has just completed a week-long roadshow of Australia.
The ‘Roadshow Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City Tourism in Australia 2023’ was organised by the HCMC Department of Tourism in collaboration with the Vietnam Embassy and Consulate.
The HCMC delegation included Vietnam Airlines as the official airline with over 20 major travel businesses and hotels.
They visited New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland, presenting to hundreds of travel businesses and local tourism officials.
It showcased Ho Chi Minh City tourism offerings, including cultural and historic sites, natural attractions, and local cuisine.
The Ho Chi Minh City delegation met with the Queensland Department of Tourism to explore partnership opportunities and cultural exchanges.
VietJet recently announced new routes to Melbourne and Sydney from Ho Chi Minh City, and a new direct flight to Brisbane from June 16, 2023.
Ho Chi Minh City Tourism invited all attendees to ITE HCMC 2023, the largest travel expo in Vietnam and the Mekong subregion, to be held from September 7 to 9, 2023.
