Holidaymakers spend more on top-end excursions
Holidaymakers are spending more money on top-end excursions, according to global tours and experiences website Viator, which says luxury VIP tours and excursions are outselling standard tours.
General manager of Europe and Asia Dan Hart said high end bookings had more than doubled year on year.
“This is an interesting trend to observe when everyone is obviously thinking more carefully than ever about every purchase," he said. "Experiencing the destination is at the heart of any holiday and doing this in the most exciting possible way is evidently becoming more of a priority."
